The legendary comedian’s life was first dramatized by Barbra Streisand in the hit Broadway musical and film Funny Girl, and now you can see Greenberg capture her hilarious spirit all over again in this original critically acclaimed and fabulous one-woman solo show.

One of the most popular radio stars of all time, Fanny was the voice of “Baby Snooks” on air for 25 years and even better known as the inspiration for the musical & movie Funny Girl.

WHO IS FANNY BRICE?
Fanny Brice grew to fame when she became a star in the Ziegfeld Follies. Known for ability to thrill an audience with a comedic number and then seamlessly follow it up with a torch song that brought the audience to tears. Fanny was a truly captivating and versatile performer. Her facile facile facial expressions and Yiddish accents delighted audiences and built her career to the status of being the highest paid singing female comedienne of her of her time.

Fanny Brice also performed in Film, on Broadway and on the Radio as Baby Snooks, Fanny Brice's signature character, for over 25 years until her death in 1951.
​
Four films were based on Fanny Brice's life; My Man and Rose Of Washington Square in the 1930's and more recently Funny Girl (first a hit Broadway musical) and the sequel Funny Lady, which dramatize her rise to fame and her two marriages to gambler, Nick Arnstein and producer, Billy Rose.

Fanny Brice's legacy continues with countless new recordings of her music and references in television shows such as Glee, Boardwalk Empire, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Can You Ever Forgive me and more!
